What We Do
To make the Iowa State University experience even better, Information Technology Services works diligently with students, faculty and staff. More than 20 teams make up ITS with each having a dedicated role in supporting the university’s enterprise technology. The department includes 11 primary units encompassing work that ranges from network engineering to research computing, finance, change management and more.

To create an equitable and inclusive online experience for users with disabilities, the Digital Accessibility team develops resources like university's Digital Accessibility Policy and helps implement accessibility software.

The IT Infrastructure teams are responsible for the university’s wired and wireless network access and make certain that campus stays connected with safe, dependable and easy-to-access internet.
Within the scope of department business, the Budget and Finance team develop and oversee ITS budget planning and processes and allocate funds to initiatives.
The Change Management and Training teams establishes strategies for supporting the Iowa State community through the adoption of emerging technologies.
