| Description | Under the MathWorks Student Option Program, MATLAB software and a limited set of add-on toolboxes are available at no charge to current Iowa State University students. MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, or Fortran. MATLAB is the foundation for Simulink and all other MathWorks products, and can be extended with add-on products for: * Math and optimization * Statistics and data analysis * Control system design and analysis * Signal processing and communications * Image processing * Test and measurement * Financial modeling and analysis * Application deployment * Database connectivity and reporting * Distributed computing (Information from the MathWorks website) Distribution: Students can download version R2009a software from the MathWorks website, or version R2007b from Iowa State's license server. | Restrictions | This program is limited to enrolled students of Iowa State University. Software may be used only on computers personally owned or leased by students of Iowa State University.
