Overview

ITS provides access to administrative information systems used by ISU staff and others at the university. The systems are divided into business and student University information systems.

Get Started

To secure access to a system using ADIN:

1. Create Sign-on (New Users)

   Complete the ADIN Access Request form for ITS to set up your sign-on and empty ADIN menu. This will be populated with system access when authorized.

2. Install Software (New Users)

   Download and install the software needed to connect to ISUAS/ADIN:

   • Download for Mac
   • Download for Windows Go to "Other Software" > "Vista TN3270"

3. Request Access to Systems (New & Existing Users)

   Request permission from the department or office responsible for the information. Training for using systems also is usually provided by the department or office responsible for the information.

4. Remove Service (Existing Users)

   Upon leaving Iowa State, complete the ADIN Access Request form again, this time selecting Add/Remove Service > Remove. Your access should be removed for security reasons.
