To reset your AccessPlus password, follow the steps from one of the following scenarios.

If you forget your current AccessPlus password:

1. Open a web browser and go to https://accessplus.iastate.edu.
2. Click "Forgot Your Password?" to retrieve your password.
3. If you set up a secret question, this will prompt you to answer the question and proceed to the next step. If you did not set up a secret question, please call the Solution Center at 515-294-4000 to have your password reset over the phone, or visit the Solution Center at 195 Durham Center with a photo ID to reset your password.
4. Upon successfully answering the question, a temporary AccessPlus password will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
5. Log in with the password that was sent to your email, and follow the prompts to change your AccessPlus password.

If you are locked out of AccessPlus:

1. Call the Solution Center at 515-294-4000 to have your password reset over the phone, or visit the Solution Center at 195 Durham Center with a photo ID to reset your password.

If you know your AccessPlus Password:

1. Open a web browser and go to https://accessplus.iastate.edu.
2. Log in with your University ID number and password.
3. Click "Password Admin" on the left side of the screen.
4. Enter your current password in the "Current AccessPlus Password" box.
5. Enter your new password choice in the "New AccessPlus Password" box. Note: Please follow the on screen requirements for your new password.
6. Click "Check Password Strength" to see how strong your password is and follow suggestions for making it stronger.
7. Enter the new password again in the "Confirm New Password" box and click "Submit".
8. After changing your password, click the login link to return to the main screen and log in with your new password.
