Current plans are to attempt firmware updates Saturday Feb 4th from 8AM to noon.

If failover capacity is insufficient, some pre-identified test/dev VMs may be shut down during this time. We'll work with those clients in advance.

An unexpected error occurred on one of the ESX hosts, impacting a portion of the VMs running on it.

Planned firmware updates have been cancelled.

We've reset/restarted any VMs that appeared to be imapacted/unreachable.

Staff/clients are encouraged to validate their applications are functioning properly.

Maintenance will be rescheduled for another day.

Firmware updates will be done to a portion of the hardware servers that support the virtual server environment.

No downtime is expected for any services during this time.
All VMs will run from the primary data center during the update process and the secondary site will be unavailable until the upgrades are completed.
