| The Exchange service should be operating normally. Below are several fixes for commonly experienced problems: Exchange ActiveSync – Some users with iPhones/iPods/Windows Mobile devices needed to recreate their sync profile with the exchange server. Instructions for this can be found at the bottom of this link: http://www.it.iastate.edu/pda/. Outlook Anywhere – Users of this service will need to switch their authentication method from NTLM to Basic using SSL. Once switched you should then be able to log in correctly from the full client without use of the VPN. Outlook Web Access – Some users had the address https://exchange.iastate.edu/exchange bookmarked. If this is the case they will need to modify this bookmark to https://exchange.iastate.edu. |

| The IMAP portion of the service has been restored. Still unresolved are other devices and services. This may include iPhone/iTouch, and devices or applications using Exchange ActiveSync. |

| One of the final steps in the implementation of ITS’ Exchange 2007 service is to move Outlook Web Access (OWA), Outlook Anywhere, Secure IMAP, and Exchange ActiveSync from the Exchange 2003 environment to the Exchange 2007 environment. During this configuration change, clients may see a short delay when connecting to these services, as well as a different interface to the Outlook Web Access page. Entourage users with a profile pointing to “exchange.iastate.edu” may notice a slight outage. Entourage should handle this redirection properly once the change is completed.
